Grantsburg
Grantsburg is known as the “Gateway to Crex Meadows”. Crex Meadows is the largest wildlife area in Wisconsin. Grantsburg is also an access point to the St Croix National Scenic Riverway which provides over two hundred miles of pristine, picturesque river setting. A wide variety of recreational activities can be enjoyed at both the Crex Meadows and the St Croix River.
In addition to the scenic beauty that encompasses our community, Grantsburg is the manufacturing center of Burnett County. With easy access to Minneapolis/St Paul, small town charm, and a friendly relaxing atmosphere, Grantsburg is the place to be!
Downtown Grantsburg has a variety of businesses and destinations. Cafés, drinking establishments and a Vietnamiese/Chinese restaurant too. Don’t forget the family friendly bowling is in downtown too.
The two largest events in Grantsburg each year, are Big Gust Days and the Grantsburg Snowmobile Watercross. The race draws people from all over the country to Memory Lake in downtown Grantsburg. The proceeds even help to fund many nonprofit organizations in the area.
