Stone Lake, nestled on the border of Washburn and Sawyer counties, is a quiet community with a lot to offer. You’ll want to visit the wide variety of shops including, antique stores, coffee shops, gift shops, wine shop and more. Just on the edge of town, you’ll find the Lions Club Park with a baseball diamond, playground, skate park, volleyball court, and pavilion. Near downtown is the access to Wetland Park, over 17 acres with a gazebo overlooking beautiful Stone Lake, a 600 ft boardwalk, and a covered walk bridge.

One of Stone Lake’s main events is the Annual Cranberry Festival in October, where thousands of folks gather to see all things Cranberry! The Stone Lake Cranberry Festival should be part of your destination calendar every year. Held on the first full weekend of October, Stone Lake hosts over 30,000 guests during the celebration of cranberries and the arrival of autumn. Following the parade, the crate derby will take center stage down Main Street, as boys and girls compete with wood, wheels and gravity to see who will be awarded the trophy. Cranberry marshes will be ready to show you their operation during marsh tours, and the area businesses, as well as hundreds of artisans, crafters and food vendors, will be there.
